Did you know that there are over 153 MILLION orphans worldwide?
We have all been called to love the orphan, but not all of us are called to adopt. So why not help those who do? Well, how about you read the stories of these amazing families and join with them in helping 6 orphans come home to their "forever" family this year! You can pray, give your time, your money, or simply reach out and let them know you care. Be prepared to have your heart wrecked for orphans all over the world. Once you read about them, you will never be the same....
To help the families, we will be having funraising events for the months of January- May to help ease some of the financial burden. To bring all the children home, it will cost around $148,000 combined! We know God will provide in making sure ALL funds are rasied and these children will be home soon.
So mark your calenders for our upcoming events!

****UPDATE The Brady's have already brought their daughter home, The Green's are home safe after meeting their sons! They will head back at the
end of June to finalize the adoptions! UNHEARD OF, God's favor!!
The Idoni's will be leaving in late June to head to Ukraine to meet their sons, and the Molina's are on their way today to meet their daughter in Uganda!
These children will all be home soon!

The statistics of Ukraine teens are upsetting, "At approximately 16 years old, an age when most American children are still in high school, children in Ukraine age out of care. The future is bleak for a child in need that is not united with a forever family before he or she ages out of the orphanage system. Statistically, 60% of the boys who age out of care turn to crime, 50% of the girls who age out of care to prostitution, and 10-15% commit suicide within the first year of aging out. Did you know that in Tanzania children with Albinism (one of the sweet 3 yr olds being adopted) are killed and their organs are being harvested for black magic? And Children born with down syndrome (the other little one from Tanzania) are abandoned and often left to die? The parents of these 2 boys (not biologically related) cared enough to leave them in the care of an orphanage who could protect them and care for them.
"Tanzania's albinos are being 'hunted down like animals' as greed for money and influence drives families to turn on their own loved ones in a trade allegedly fueled by some of the country's most powerful people. It is believed albino body parts will bring a person wealth, or luck - and for that, people are willing to pay as much as $3,000 or $4,000 for a limb, or as much as $75,000 - for the 'full set', a whole body. People with albinism are regularly attacked by people who chop their limbs off - an act which either leaves them severely mutilated, or dead." (taken from dailymail.co.uk )
